Sound Boxes

Sound Boxes (i.e. Elkonin Boxes) are a quick and easy tool to help students with isolating the individual sounds in words. The boxes make the sounds visual and physical, and are used to teach phonemic (sound) awareness and phoneme (sound) segmenting.
